Share Account
This is your membership account. The first step to joining NORCO CREDIT UNION is opening a Share Savings Account. We will need a $25.00 deposit. This deposit represents your share in the Credit Union. It provides you with the privilege of voting for your Board of Directors, Committees and to participate in the variety of services available. Deposits can be made anytime in person, by mail or payroll deduction. Withdrawals can be made anytime unless pledged as collateral on a loan. Minimum balance is $25.00. Dividends will be paid on accounts with more than a $25.00 balance, calculated on the average daily balance and paid to your account quarterly.
Term Share Certificates
Certificates are available for 12 month terms. Minimum deposit is $1,000.00. Dividends are paid at maturity to your credit union share savings. Certificates of deposit are automatically renewable for a like term at the interest rate in effect on the date of maturity.
Holiday Savings Club
A holiday savings account can make it easy to save for holiday purchases. You decide how much to put away each month or each payday. The balance along with dividends will be mailed out to you the second week of November-just in time for holiday shopping. Set up automatic payroll deduction to make this an even better way to save.
Money Market Certificates
Save your money where you will earn the most for it. The money market certificate is a certificate of deposit that pays higher dividends. Interest rates on this account is based on the Federal Reserve T-bill and paid at maturity. Money market certificates are for 6 month terms and a $10,000.00 minimum.
